PMFME (Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises)
Who can apply?
- Individuals aged 18+
- New or existing micro food processing units
- FPOs, SHGs, cooperatives
Loan Amount:
- No fixed cap — based on project cost per DPR
- 35% credit-linked subsidy, capped at ₹10 lakh per unit
Where to apply?
- PMFME/MoFPI Online Portal
- Via banks, with support from District Resource Persons (DRP)
Documents Needed:
- Aadhaar, PAN, photo
- Udyam Registration
- Project report (DPR), bank details/statements
- Machinery quotations, address/premises proof, FSSAI registration
- Caste certificate (if applicable), CIBIL history
Eligibility Notes:
- Based on One District One Product (ODOP) model
- Subsidy released to bank post loan sanction, not paid upfront
- Beneficiary contribution required alongside loan
- Govt. employees and professionals (doctors/engineers/CAs) generally not eligible
