Forest Department, Peddapalli District.
In the process of reorganization and formation of new Districts, the Peddapalli Forest District came in to existence w.e.f., Dated:- 11-10-2016. It has the boundaries in North side Mancherial District, South Karimnagar District, East Jayashankar-Bhupalpally District and West Jagtial District.
- Geographical area of the District : 2,19,000 Ha / 5,41,149 Acres.
- Forest area of the District : 31,100.368 Ha / 76,938.19 Acres.
- Percentage of Forest area : 20 %
Peddapalli Forest District is divided in to (2) Ranges :
- The District Forest Officer, Peddapally District is the overall controlling authority to (2) Ranges of Forest Department stationed at IDOC Complex, Peddapalli.
- The Forest Range Officer, Peddapalli
- The I/c Forest Range Officer, Manthani

Urban Forest Parks :
Urban Forest Park is developed in Kundanpally Village of Anthergoan Mandal of Peddapally Range.
Kundanpally Urban Forest Park is in Kannala Reserve Forest area of 49.42 Acres.
Kundanpally Urban Forest Park is opened for public during 2016.
Shiwaram Wildlife Sanctuary existing in Manthani Range :
- The part of Shiwaram Wildlife Sanctuary is existing in Peddapalli District over an extent of 68 Sq. Kms. This is Crocodile Wildlife Sanctuary along Godavari River.
- The wildlife existing in sanctuary area are Mugger Crocodile, Sloth Bear, Nilgai, Spotted Deer, Chowsinga, Gaint river Otters and other reptiles like Indian Cobra, Pythons, Common Indian krait, Common Indian Monitor Lizar, Mongoos, Jackal. Common Langoor and Wild boars.
- Eco Tourism activities:
- The Eco Tourism activities are permitted in Ramagiri Fort falling in Quilaramagiri Reserve Forest in at Ramagiri Mandal of Peddapally Range. The developmental works are under progress.
- Proposed Eco Tourism activities at Sabitham Waterfall in Gundaram Reserve Forest in Peddapally Range.
