The DM&HO is the head of the department in the District, look after the functioning of all Govt. Health facilities in the district.

 

The DM&HO is the regulatory authority to ensure quality services in all the Private and Govt. health care establishments. The DM&HO is appropriate authority for implementation of    a) Clinical Establishment Act -2010 (CEA) b) Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PC&PNDT) Act, 1994 c) Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTP) Act, 1971.

 

The DM&HO is the convener for all kinds of District level recruitment’s under District Health Society.
